Wow! Looking back at the last Fitness pot it’s clear that I HAVE been a Slacker. Not that I’ve backslid in terms of fitness; maintenance has proven to be easier than overhaul and I’m still at 165 pounds. BUT…there’ve been no posts about fitness in some time. So here we go.
American Martial Arts Academycontinues to impress. At the end of 2011 Jeanne was all excited, telling me about a new Cage Fitness program she was getting certified in.
(Something I really like about AMAA is that they always attain the highest proficiency BEFORE starting to teach any discipline.) New ‘stuff’ had already started to appear in the room; specifically the Body Bags (torso shaped punching bags) were stacked along the wall. Having a curious nature I really wanted to know what the routine would be.










In a 30 year professional and business life that has spanned retail, enterprise technology, as well as restaurant and B&B proprietorship, ultimately I am a salesman. In that my objectives have always been: to learn what’s required, judge the fitness of my offering and present the best options. The goal of enabling the client in making a decision to ‘buy’ instead of ‘being sold’ is an important differentiation.
